Dear 3rd Period

November 17, 2015
Dear 3rd Period,
I am thankful for you!  I love the fact that you come in eager to learn every day and love to participate in our fun, and sometimes corny, activities. Each one of you bless me more than you’ll ever know because you are just you – bright, cheerful, and thoughtful – which are some of the adjectives that come to my mind when I think about you.  Thank you so much for being such a good bunch of 6th graders to teach!
I know all of you will be successful in life.  God bless you this Thanksgiving…I hope it’s the best one ever!
Sincerely,
Mrs. McBrayer

Dear 6th Period

November 17, 2015
Dear 6th Period,
I am thankful for you!  Do you know what I love about your class?  You truly are the BEST 6th period class I have ever had the privilege to teach!  You are well behaved (the best behaving 6th period class I have ever taught!), respectful, eager to learn, energetic, and the list goes on.  Both individually and collectively, you are just a sweet bunch of kids!  You even seem to enjoy my goofiness. (Lol and thanks!)  Above all, you demonstrate day in and day out all we have learned about work ethic. That’s icing on the cake for this teacher!
All of you are going to be successful.  I have no doubts about it!  I’m praying for God to bless you richly now and always.
Sincerely,
Mrs. McBrayer

Dear 4th Period

November 17, 2015
Dear 4th Period,
I am thankful for you!  Do you know what stands out the most about your class and each one of you individually?…That  you are HAPPY! As a matter of fact, you are the happiest bunch of youngsters I believe I have ever taught!  At the same time though, you know when to settle down and get to business, and for that I am truly thankful!  I also love the fact that you encourage and stand by each other.  Those are 2 qualities that will help you be successful in life.
I pray God blesses each one of you richly this Thanksgiving.
Sincerely,
Mrs. McBrayer

Dear 2nd & 5th Periods

November 16, 2015
Dear 2nd & 5th Periods,
I am thankful for you!  I have now had the privilege of teaching you not only in 6th, not only in 7th, but also in 8th grade.  My how time has flown!  You have grown into some amazing young people.  Your energy and enthusiasm never ceases to amaze me (and wear me out on some days lol).  For example, everyone wants (even begs) to read the standard just to receive a devil dollar!  Why?…  Because you want to WIN! That competitive spirit is going to make every one of you a winner in life.  I have NO doubt about that!
You are awesome and I am thankful to have taught you throughout your middle school years.  Now, get to work and behave!
God bless you,
Mrs. McBrayer

Dear 1st Period

November 16, 2015

Dear 1st Period,

I am thankful for you!  Both collectively and individually, you are a caring group of young people.  I love seeing you work together to help each other and me.  For example, you were eager to lend a hand when all those stuffed animals for Y-Club needed to be inspected and boxed up to be shipped overseas…all 327 of them!  You are also nice and respectful to each other, which is a breath of fresh air as I witness this day in and day out during class.

I know each of you will be successful in life!  I’m thanking God for you this Thanksgiving.

Blessings,

Mrs. McBrayer

Did you know BMS Y-Clubbers are simply AWESOME?

Making the world a better place from right here in tiny Bremen, GA is what we’re all about! Thank you Y-Club members!  Keep on serving!

Thank you to Tyler Sweatt the youth pastor from FBC of Bremen for speaking at our meeting yesterday! Are you a Shadrach, Meshach, or and Abednego?!

Marketing Interpersonal Skills

How well do you interact with others?  For the past week in the BMS Career Center, 8th graders have been learning all about how demonstrating good interpersonal skills will help them be successful not only now as a student, but in the future as an employee as well.

Students’ culminating activity was producing a t-shirt with a catchy slogan and design that markets, or advertises, the interpersonal skills they have learned about.  Here are the winning t-shirts from 2nd and 5th periods!….
